Southeast Kansas Home Sales Fell in March
The total number of active listings in Southeast Kansas at the end of March was 577 units, down from 725 at the same point in 2018. This represents a 6.8 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of March was $71,000. There were 86 contracts written in March 2019 and 2018, showing no change over the year. At the end of the month, there were 106 contracts pending, compared to 105 at the end of March 2018. Southeast Kansas Active Listings Down at End of March.
Total home sales in Southeast Kansas fell last month to 75 units, compared to 83 units in March 2018. Total sales volume was $4.9 million, down from a year earlier. The median sale price in March was $45,000, down from $59,900 a year earlier. Homes that sold in March were typically on the market for 100 days and sold for 93.2% of their list prices.
